Datuk Abdullah Conducts Working Visit In Semop Constituency

BINTANGOR: Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS), who is also the Semop Assemblyman, Datuk Abdullah Saidol, conducted a two-day working visit to several villages in the Semop constituency.
During the visit on Friday, Datuk Abdullah toured Kampung Sebako, Kampung Kut, Kampung Semop, Kampung Sedo, Kampung Serdeng, Tanjung Bundong Bintangor, and Kampung Melayu Bintangor.
He also presented a Minor Rural Project (MRP) special grant worth RM100,000 to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Rumah Noven, Kampung Perdana Selidap, to cement the longhouse compound.
Additionally, the JKKK of Tanjung Bundong Bintangor received an MRP special grant worth RM60,769.40 from Datuk Abdullah for the construction of a shed at the Tanjung Bundong Bintangor Hall.
He further allocated MRP special grants to Masjid Darul Ibadah in Kampung Tanjung Bundong Bintangor and Surau Darul Taqwa in Kampung Selemas Bintangor, amounting to RM6,800 each, for upgrading the respective mosque and surau facilities.
In the afternoon, Datuk Abdullah held a meeting with the PBB N.46 Meradong Branch Exco and community leaders from Kampung Melayu Bintangor in conjunction with the 2025 Aidilfitri Celebration at Kampung Melayu Bintangor.
Similar gatherings for Kampung Melayu in Sungai Selemas and Tanjung Bundong were held at the Tanjung Bundong Bintangor Hall. -UKASnews
