Sarawak Netball Team Falls Short Against Terengganu Despite Strong Effort

MUKAH: In spite of their best efforts, the Sarawak netball team lost in their match against Terengganu.
According to the President of Sarawak Netball, Datin Ellis Suriati Haji Omar, all team members did their best and showed great determination throughout the match.
"I think both teams fought till the end. It was just a matter of how you control the last quarter.
"I think my girls had really high spirits," she said.
She said this when met by reporters after the match at Mukah Polytechnic Multipurpose Hall, on Sunday.
In the match, Sarawak led 14-12 in the first quarter, 27-23 in the second quarter, and 43-38 in the third quarter, but lost in the final quarter with a score of 53-56 to Terengganu.
Sarawak and Terengganu are in Group B and faced off in the eighth match.
Also drawing attention was the agility of Sarawak's center player, Avis Ting Cing Yu, who consistently impressed supporters both on and off the court. -UKASnews
